It blocks signals to reach the brain that trigger the feeling of nausea or vomiting. Thanks Paul, high praise, indeed!

And, sorry, I forgot to shoot a photo of the board in the box before it was mounted in the bowl. It works great and the volume and tone roll off very nicely. It really gives that shallower bowl a lot of power, though it seems a bit darker than when unamplified. I believe I am finished, though I may mount the battery to the proper hole in the bowl, eventually. It's currently just attached to the side of the circuit box enclosure. So, the reanimation is complete. If anyone else is enterprising to construct one of these critters, be assured it is indeed feasible and very satisfying. Whoa! Okay, so I've passed the "fascinating" phase, and went right into "enterprising" phase, seesquare! Wait, I should first say "Congratulations" shouldn't I? Pretty sure I can get the parts, and with some help from AI, I think I can read the schematics (kinda), soldering is within reach too; however, bread board arrangement throws me right back into "fascinating" mode. Do you have a high-res version of the "Ovation SK-M preamp breadboard 1.jpg" pic? I definitely want to build one of these and put it in my 1115 (assuming everything works out - knock on wood!). Congratulations and thanks for the inspiration!

I'm not sure what high-res requires, but I am posting more of my worksheets to specify the placement of the electronic components. Hopefully, if you know your way around a breadboard, the diagrams will tell you where I placed everything and how the circuit connections are laid out. The photo of the assembled breadboard is so congested, it's impossible to see the circuitry clearly. I will try to answer any questions you have, anyway. Will probably do this in conjunction with my OP24 electrolytic capacitor replacement for my 1868. Very cool! Thanks again! Gotta love the BFLG!
