Phil  I hope it doesn't stand for Phenergan Unavailable! How will I make it through the winter??? Ahhh, the memories of phenergan syrup with codeine for a bad cough that wouldn't let me sleep...I wish doctors were as cool now as they used to be.

Unfortunately we have a few customers in the store that use Promethazine/Codeine (Phenergan/Codeine generic) chronically and we cannot get rid of them. Every time they come in for this medicine I have yet to see them cough. I had Pneumonia 4 years ago. The Phlem I was coughing up came was dark brown. My doctor didn't even prescribe this medicine for me. I talked to the owner of the store and asked him if we could try to get rid of these people. He didn't want to. Profit margin may be the answer. Anyway, I just wanted Cruster to know that this medicine was still available. Phil

I went home, and after not having slept for several nights, decided that if a teaspoon was good, a tabelspoon was better. I slept extremely well...nodding off about fifteen minutes or so later. When I woke up the next morning, my hair hurt. That was the only time I did that. The next winter, I had a respiratory infection of some sort and the same doctor prescribed the same thing. Worked a charm for quieting the cough, but the technicolor dreams were a bit much. I was really just being silly about PU. :) FWIW, I've discovered that a nice hot toddy, (mixed as 1/2 coffee cup of good bourbon, 1 tbs. honey, two crushed aspirin, juice of one lemon wedge, topped off with hot water) has the same effect without the hurty hair. ;)

Ultimately I did get the canned email he sent to a few of us. I put a low bid in just to get on the list in case anything came back from eBay after the fact. Lookie what I just got: "The following is a courtesy notice from eBay Trust & Safety regarding: User ID - dpausch743 Our records show that you were a bidder or buyer of one or more of this seller's items. We recently removed all of this seller's active listings and have suspended the seller's trading privileges. Due to privacy concerns we will not be able to share further details related to this seller." That guy smelled like garbage from the beginning didn't he?

I would assume maybe it could be a co-hort of the seller perpetuating this whole thing by driving up the bid. I also saw the second listing and another non-picture of actual merchandise. This is really going to be a pattern I believe. My understanding the 1st seller has been terminated.
