Location: Portola Hills,CA | I am looking for an Ovation Authorized dealer in Southern California (between LA and SD) to do some setup work. The Ovation website dealer search showed mainly Guitar Centers in my area. I was hoping there might be some fanclub members who live in the SoCal (OC) area that could recommend a good shop for setup and repairs.

Location: SoCal | Call Paul Stebner. He has a small shop called Guitar Remedy in Tustin (714/544-8350), off 4th St and the 55. Good guy. Does authorized Ovation work as well as other models. Tell him Paul Moody sent you. |

Location: Tennessee | Paul, your post reminded me of something. Only in SoCal ... do people refer to freeway numbers with a "the" preceding them. Take The 405 to The 55 to The 5 and take The 10 west to The 101. Having grown up in SoCal, I took much abuse about this from people in different parts of the country, especially NoCal. But the "The" is pervasive in everything in SoCal, from the traffic reporters to the drivers to even the advertisers ... in fact, there is no such thing as plain ol' 405! :) |
