I just got back from a flea market were a guy had a Glen Campell shallow bowl,no case for 350.00. The guitar had about four cracks from the bridge to the bottom, but the top seemed to be pretty flat.It played and sounded really good and the strings were dead as crap. The numbers i could could see were 1127-4 and 027768.Anyboby help me out on what its worth. The guy went home with it but i got his contact info.

I'm not the price police, but 4 b2b lacquer cracks and no case would put 350. on the high end for me. It's probably VT braced. If it sounded really good to you, then I would recommend you try to jew him down on the price. After all it IS a flea market. Tell him a case will cost you $80. fixing the cracks at least $150. New strings $10. Go for it ...

I agree that seems a little high, given its condition. I just picked one up off eBay earlier this year, a really clean '76 model with no cracks or other issiues, and I only paid (w/ shipping) $380. If it were me, unless there's just something about that particular guitar that really grabs you, I'd wait. They come up on eBay rather frequently, and chances are you'll find one in better condition for close to the same money.

I did like the guitar but i thought the price was off. At this time he will not move on the price. AS Tupperware knows i would like something with a wider nut but this little guitar did speak to me....
