Location: Midland, MI | A year or so ago there was a mad rush for any GP available. Prices went through the roof. All because some guy played one in a popular (at the time...anyone heard from them lately?) band. (edit: that's not to say they're not very nice guitars)
I went to look at the auction linked in the OP, but no images show up. Interesting.
EDIT: The images do show up if I change the default settings in Firefox. Sheesh, I hate it when software updates change things! |

Location: london | think les paul custom, with better balance. i'd put the cratmanship at about the same (80's gibsons are not always made perfectly. you might see the inlays with some filler not routed perfectly. personally i find them more cumpfy to play. the neck body joint is smooth like a rabits ear. good sounding good handling guitars........which they only made between 200 and 400 of the opionions seem to go apart. made in 83? i think only one shipment. i have one would buy another 20 if i could afford it.
read what others thought,

in case you're wondering i would never sell mine.... well maybe for another gibson ff82, i might possibly be persuaded, naah probably not.
i hope that helps mister BIG O |
