Im new to this site...were you saying to contact someone from here to get new tuners? is there someone I can email? MAY I MAKE A SUGGESTION??? When you remove your gold tuners you will have a "footprint" on the wood on the back of the headstock. You may want to get the same Ping tuners in black as replacements so that the old footprint/screwholes are covered up nicely. These are used on the Elite T's, are available from the factory (to us in the club who have an open "back door"), and may be much less costly than anything else available. I'd call John or Kim at the service dept. and ask. I would NOT paint the gold tuners. John <>{ thanks. ideally Id like to get all new tuners..I just wanted to avoid drilling, and refinishing, etc. thats all. thanks!

I don't think the paint will work; I'll bet that they start flaking before the week is out. But then agian, you don;t have much to lose. As Cliff said, have at it.

You can get black replacement schallers, or, I think, I said this before, get black planet waves auto-trims, they make 3x3's and can found on ebay for $40.00, $50 at the most. You will be happy with them, I guarantee it, and if they break in the first year, Daddario will replace them for nothing. (It happened to me, and I couldn't be happier with their customer service.) If there are holes, just fill it in with plastic wood. Painting may look cheesy. Which is OK. Some people pay extra to have someone else make their guitars look old.
