Location: Omaha | I've been trying different strings on this Ovation 1124, trying to find some that are high enough tension with the shorter scale (for a nylon string, 25 1/4" is a fairly short scale). Right now the tone is great, but I'd like a little more "snap."
Nylon playeres, what's the highest tension string set you've been able to find, or the set that has worked best for you?
(So far I've tried Pro Arte Hard Tension, Savarez High Tension, Martin High Tension (these are on it right now), and Fender High Tension. Are there any other makers of high tension strings out there, or some sets of "super high tension" I haven't found yet?)
Thanks! |

Location: So. Cal. | I use Hannabach 815HT and 7287HT (carbon fibre trebles) on all my nylon guitars. The difference in tone is significant especially on the Adamas I nylon. |

Thanks for the info. |

Location: So. Cal. | Most on-line stores carry them. Try Just Strings - notice they also have 815-SHT (super high tension). |
