| I was just wondering if anyone had any information on a mid-70's Ovation 1619. I just bought one and was wondering how much it was worth. It is in pretty good shape. There are a couple of cracks on the top, but it still plays excellent. Any information is appreciated. Thanks. |

The prices for used Ovations are all over the place and seem to depend on what someone that is looking for a guitar is willing to spend. Ovations are usually a great value for what you get...a super sounding, beautiful guitar. |

Location: Denver, Colorado | I have a 1617 with craks in the top. What's it worth to me? I would never even consider selling it. I write songs with it, record with and just play the heck out of it. I guess you could say it's worth a million to me. To the rest of the world, probably 400 bucks. |

Well stated, our guitars are worth a lifetime to us that play them, the dollars aren't relevant. How many dollars is the many experiences that a good instrument has brought us worth? I hate to make this kind of comparison, but wives, kids etc. are in the same category. Things we love are not things we price in dollars. |
