Location: atlanta | Cliff, you and other NJ and NY members have asked me for notice of Kaki King's local shows. She'll be at the Mercury Lounge (NYC) on Sat.(3/1).

She likes to play there because she thinks the PA system is "one of the best" for her style.
Best regards--

Location: Tennessee | I saw Kaki in San Francisco a couple of weeks ago and strongly encourage anyone in the NY area to catch her live ... truly phenomenal.
Popcritic ... a friend brought over a CD earlier tonight by (Henry Fayce? -- man, the brain cells are heading south fast) ... and there was a thank you to Kaki in the liner notes. Small world! |

Location: atlanta | Ricker, at the moment, the closest she'll be to you is the High Sierra Festival in Quincy, CA, July 3-6. See:

Stonebobbo, you are referring to a great guitarist named Henry Frayne. Master of the delay effect. An old friend of ours, Henry first met Kaki when she was 16, and has stayed in touch with us ever since. I think his latest cd is arguably his best. See:

Cliff, hope you make it to her Mercury gig. She will be previewing "new material" she's recently written.
Regards to all--
