i just got a used cc11
it seems that it was a righty converted to a lefty because of the position of the strap button.
it is on the bottom of the neck.
is it ok to drill a small hole in the body and move the button to the correct side?
thanks.

Welcome... Do you want it to be a righty or a lefty?

Many Ovation guitars have the neck strap button on the treble side, or the bottom side of the neck.
It makes for a more comfortable 'hang'...
This is a Balladeer, but look at where the button is located...

AKVK,
Welcome!
An easier way to tell is your guitar was "flipped" is to look at the saddle. It is slanted "up" toward the treble side, and flipping it involves a lot of work to compensate it. More than likely you have a righty.

Enjoy it and play it!
