PLayed Spring Fest at my school a couple of weeks ago. Went awesome and most the people who watched us said we killed. The Heavy Rock landed better with the teachers actually. I wasn't that nervous either. I can't wait till I can bust out my ovation on stage though....

Yeah... The teachers wanted to hear AC/DC and Sabbath...
And the students were saying, Know any Avril Levigne?

Haha, exactly! We kinda go off on our songs and jam which the teachers really dug. The kids wanted the chorus nine-hundred times like Avril-esque musicians.

Just so you have a goal....

You have to play at least one hundred sucky gigs before your band will be tight, professional, and able to pull off anything in any situation. Every time you play a crap location, or give a crap show (which MAY never happen)just think, "That's one down - 99 (etc.) to go."

Most bands don't survive the apprenticeship. Some individuals do. (some bands do too.)

Well done 72. Hope there's many more gigs to come for your band. Does the band have a name BTW?

If you had fun AND entertained others, you accomplished something to celebrate. Congrats, and may there be many, many more.
