spent an hr on the phone with brother tech support
still no usb.
btw don't ask me for photos until I get this straightened out or scans or to print anything or..... |

Location: closely held secret | If your USB doesn't work at all, try updating the drivers. If that doesn't do it, you could try a repair install of windows. |

Location: big island | before attempting a repair install, i would recommend a system restore first. the IE7 update probably caused the trouble. you have reverted back to IE6 so open up the system restore utility and choose one of the highlighted dates just prior to your troubles. i cannot guarantee success but it is certainly a viable option. |

Check your computer for a Virus. |
