Not that I'm going to buy it, just curious... |

That's not a UK but a Hammer Bass. |

Location: puerto vallarta, mexico | both look just like one i got from "the source". for anybody new to ukII guitars, cwk2 was the one who gets the credit for this amazing guitar. the bow tie inlays were first, then the block abalone, and the last few were assembled in the r&d dept and had dot inlays (preacher neck) and chrome hardware. i am lucky enough to have at least 1 of each. they are the solid body that followed the ovation acoustic guitars premise. designed from a new concept and not to be like all of the rest. anyone who isn't familiar with the details on these guitars should type ukII into search here on the ofc site.
i think the only other urelite and aluminum body guitars were the bluebirds (and one brown bird 12 string that i am also very proud to be the owner of). the birds had a viper shaped body, and at least my "rockin' robin" has active pickups. i have never played a 12 string that has such easy accurate action. in fact i am going to the "vault" and let it chirp a little right now. |
