I stepped out of Mississippi when I was ten years old. With a suit cut sharp as a razor and a heart made of gold. I had a guitar hanging about waist high. And I'm gonna play this thing until the day I die.

(Don't you know you're riding with the king)

The good Lord willing, we'll be seeing him again at the end of December. He always does an outdoor show here either Christmas or New Years. Last Christmas show he had "Lucinda"... Lucielle on vacation. Lucinda was bright green/red chameleon 345. Nice for the holidays....

I will never forget when i saw B.B. Live in Myrtle Beach in 1989. All I could say for two weeks was WOW!!!. great show and tremendous Blues player. I sat 3 Rows from the front of the stage.
I hope I get to see him again. Happy Birthday to The Beal Street Blues Boy!

The one time I saw BB King, San Antonio's Majestic Theater several years ago, it was the most diverse crowd of any show I've ever been to. And a great show.

Happy B-day BB!!

Saw him two years ago at our local casino. He had to sit down during his performance, but the audience was on its' feet. He has that effect.
May The Lord keep him with us a bit longer!

Not a guitarist into pyrotechnics on the fingerboard but, man oh man, he sure hits the nail on the head.

I noticed his co-winner of this year's Polar music prize is Ligeti. I've always liked that strange piece he wrote titled Atmospheres, which was part of the musical score for the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey.
