Greetings to Y'all

~Last chance to snag the ThreeQuart Trekker with the on-board OP24+ (Clearance Priced!) :D

Rare A/E 3/4 Trekker

But WAIT!!! That's not all...I'm letting go of my little slice of BeattleMania Memorabilia - a Miniature Fender Strat designed by Yoko Ono, along with the original sheet music (circa 1972/'80/'82) of "Imagine"..."Starting Over"...and..."Ebony & Ivory"...I know there's a few Strat lovers/Lennon fans who'd appreciate the chance to add these to the display case!

Yoko Strat + Lennon/McCartney Music

This is a Waaay Coool Guitar, and the pic's don't do it justice...

Thanks for your support and encouragement in the quest for Ovationary Bliss~

Kurt, does the Trekker fit in an overhead?

Wask~ That's what I'm told - though I've never tried to take it aboard...the current security climate makes me a little paranoid (or more than I naturally am!). I suppose one could call the local airline desk and get the max dimensions of the overhead bin. I'll see if I can find that out, and post the spec's. Peace, Love & JuJu~

I think I just read somewhere that they're considering allowing scissors . . . but banning Ovations . .

Check with your airline.
Jetblue lets on guitars, even though they exceed the dimension specs. Typically, 45 total inches domestic. Other airlines are sticklers and have other dimension specs.

Um... this one is going a little farther than domestic...

I'll probably just take my Balladeer and check it.

I wouldn't put an instrument in the overhead unless it were in a hardshell case. The larger aircraft such as 767 will have a closet for hanging up long coats, especially for the first and business class passengers. You might be able to sweet talk the flight attendant into putting your 3/4 size guitar in the closet. Just be pleasant and act like you are asking for a favor and the FA's will usually treat you well. (Be demanding of them and they will go out of their way to make your trip miserable.)

It was just a thought. I bought a slightly beat up Balladeer just for this purpose.
I just remembered why I check them on long trips. I'll already have loads to have to carry. The guitar will have to watch out for itself. Hopefully it will arrive and in one piece.
