Location: Florida | Last July I ordered a W597-4G. It has been on backorder and I was told it would not be available till November or later. I just received an e-mail that it has shipped and will arrive this Tuesday. Since I ordered this guitar I bought a 1981 Adamas II on eBay that had been stored for 24 years with its original strings and battery. I have never heard or played a better sounding guitar and I really doubt that the new W597 will compare. In any event I don't need a fifth guitar. If anyone is interested please drop me a line. I paid a lot less that the $2499.00 list price. |

Location: Florida | This is an undate. My Adamas arrived Wednesday 10/5/2005. It is perfect and beautiful. Acoustically, it does not compare to my 1981 Adamas II 1681 model. Ampified it has a lot more options available and the built in tuner is nice. Anyone interested contact JRMiami@hotmail.com. |

Location: Upper Left USA | I did get to play one of the blue cross-woven tops yesterday. Had the excellant Adamas feel and sound. The top finish is absolutely mesmerizing! |

Location: Florida | Doesn't anyone want a new W597-4G? I have only had one interested party, but still have the guitar. It really is a great guitar and you can save the three month wait that I had. It is much better amplified than acoustic, at least when compared to my 1681.

Location: Keller, TX | I would love a W597. However, not in the 4G. I have a 1681 in black. I am looking to get a Millenium (essentially a W597 all dressed up for the party). |

Location: Florida | It lists for $2499 and I paid $1700. Just want to get out what I paid for it. By the way, Gainesville is only about an hour and a half drive to see it.

| A-Fan, I've played three of those and everyone was fantastic. You asked why no interest. Maybe, a few others are viewing this sales offer the way I am. Here's what I'm thinking. Perhaps a year or two ago I would have been responding to your offer since I have always wanted to own an Adamas. Currently, there are some super-cool "RETRO" Adamas models out and soon to be out. I haven't tried them or seen them in person. Also, there is a new model line coming soon and I'm waiting to see what those models look like and what they sound like. This doesn't mention all the changes coming I'm seeing on the Ovation lines. I've always wanted a custom legend. I'd like to check on the contoured bowl models. So, for me the W597, which I liked a lot, is in a lame-duck (as in the political reference) mode until I see and hear what's coming. |
