| I've seen these in print for more than two decades, but have never been in a store which actually had one in stock.
For those who have actually tried one, I'm curious as to your impressions. If you decided to actually buy one, your opinions would interest me even more.
Actual usable instrument? Rock star pretension? Let us know! *laugh* |

Location: Sydney, Australia | I tried one in a shop in Canada once. It was quite affordable and I was tempted to incur the wrath of SWMBO. However it was big and bulky, at least one of the necks would always be in the wrong position and the sound was unappealing. Unless you play a live song that requires you to switch from 6 to 12 strings in mid song I wouldn't buy one. |

Location: Tennessee | I've played both the Celebrity model, and a custom USA order that Tim in Tidewater has. Tim's was really special and fun to play. More comfortable than I expected. Also heavier than I expected. |

If it doesn't have to be acoustic I have an outstanding '78 Ibanez Doubleneck Artist (for sale) that will almost make you cry with how sweet it is. |

Oh & I love mine :) |

Location: Omaha, NE | I spent a few minutes wheedling on one at Mars Music (remember those guys?) a number of years ago. It was the cheapo version, and felt every bit of it: Ridiculously bad setup, poor fit and finish, cigar box sound.
Wish I could say something nice about it. |
