I am at my wits end.

I have nero suite installed on my computer.

I recorded a show last night on my olympus ls10
I then transferred the file to my computer.
for some reason the file was saved as a wma
when I went to burn it on an audio cd it only played about 10 seconds.

so I renamed both files and then it saved it to my recorder as a wma and not a wav.

so how do i rename convert this file to a wav? so I can record it.

Here's a link to the one I use. Works fairly well and it's free.

There's a program called Switch available for both Mac and PC. Real easy to use. It should convert your WMA TO WAV pretty quick then you can edit out the corrupted stuff.
