Anybody familiar with this style of tab? It has six lines of spaces the numbers are put in to show fret position. I find them much easier to read than the tab with a line going thru the number. I can site read it as fast as I can lines of standard bass notation which I learned during the 14 years I played bass in an orchestra. I layed out a page of this style of blank tabs and printed out a bunch of pages of them to transcribe songs done with traditional style tabs. I'll send a PDF file of this style of tabs to anyone who is interested in printing their own. Email request for it to: davidkellems@gmail.com

Why don't you just google it? (although why DaveKell didn't add a link, who knows...)

You seem to have zeroed in on any post by me to make an asinine comment about it. Have at it son. I am a venerated elder on another forum where my opinion is highly respected. I'm a newbee here and know my place. Guys like you always eventually trip up and get booted. I'm not saying you've approached that threshold yet, but I am kindly requesting you move onto somebody else's postings to tarnish with your zero value additions. And what the hell is that link you posted? Apparently, reading for comprehension isn't in your skillset. That link only brings up traditional tabs. I won't explain to you why it's a worthless link, I would just invite you to re-read my original post s-l-o-w-l-y. Anybody who wants the Stefan Grossman tabs need only email me at davidkellems@gmail.com to request a PDF file of the tabs and quickly/easily print out a page of them to see them for yourself.

My point is still a good one. Who would want to email some newbie stranger on an internet forum to request tabs , when said stranger could have just posted a link to show what he is talking about? You might have gotten more response to your thread if you would have just done the sensible thing. Secondly, it's never a good idea to post your real email address in a thread (but that's your business).

Look sport, how do you know the response I've gotten? The post didn't call for comments - only an opportunity to email a request. Like I said... read for comprehension. You have no idea how many requests I've gotten. Actually, I have yet to read many "good points" from you... and FYI - there is no link to these tabs, hence, my offer to make them available as a helpful gesture. I'm sorry this is somehow lost on you... but I'm finding that to be a chronic condition with you.

Well...I guess I just don't get good enough sleep.

Guitarism (a much nicer person than myself) has requested you post a picture of what you are talking about. How 'bout it, sport?
