Hi - I have an Ovation Balladeer - model is 1111-6, and the serial number is 06XXXX. It's white - which, I think, is unusual for an Ovation. I'm pretty sure that it's a 1975 - outside of that, I don't know much about it. Can anyone provide me more details about the model?

Thanks!

You can get an age estimate in the reference section...click the link to the left. And if you do a search (top of page) for "1111" you should get a lot of hits... search the 'The Vault' too, its a choice in the pop-up list on the search perimeters.

Welcome.

The -6 said it was white. Made a lot of them for a while. It should have a black neck.

There's a pic of the white Balladeer in an old catalog on Jerome's site (page 15):

I think Kenny did play one of these for a while.

Thanks for all of the replies. It's actually an interesting guitar - the headstock doesn't appear to be wood - it has a gritty texture, although that may be a function of the black paint. The neck is black, too - I'm assuming that it's wood, and not aluminum or whatever.
