It really wasn't all that much fun to begin with, actually. I'm pretty mediocre, but most of the people over there are even worse, except for Dean, & I play music with him every week at his place anyway. I've been hanging around with myself for 56 years now & I know what would happen if that bozo opened his mouth again. There are too many nice older people over there that I don't want to offend & there's too much expensive equipment in the area for what would be likely to follow. I've had it happen before. More than once. Best if I avoid that sort of situation. I also wouldn't give something like that to somebody's grandkids that I like. That would be a dirty trick :) I'm going to use it myself when Dean & I are playing at some friends of ours' bar if I can make it sound half decent. For $17 including shipping I'll take a chance on one if for no other reason than I've never seen one before. I always keep an old metal kazoo in my toolbox with my other toys, kazoo's are fun :) So are firecrackers.... /\/\/

(they had the best hot roasted peanuts you ever ate, in fact seagulls would recognize those brown bags and attack you. there was a guy there ( or was it at the mccrory's 5 & 10) well it dosen't really matter. He sold an instrument called a "hum a roo" It was some goofy looking thing that was basically a glorified kazoo. It fascinated me how people would buy these novelites and then literally toss them in the trash down the boardwalk. I guess I am just in the wrong business.

(In my best imitation of Spot...faithful sidekick to Penry's alter ego...hehehehehehe) :)
