with the download you get a whole page of Blues Licks, Jazz Licks, Rock Licks and several scales.
They even have a Ovation acoustic(Adamas actually)
That you can load for your guitar view.
Give it a try..It's really neat!

Just access the link and click on guitars, it at the bottom of the page. |

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma | Steve I downloaded and it is rather cool... Being one of those "play by ear" guys for 30 odd years and having never had lessons of any type I loved all the free downloads of licks and scales... I never new some of the licks I played were actually scales!...Ha!.. I also liked the the ability to see what is being played... Many times I've gone to concerts to watch someone play a song so I could learn the basic cord structure of the elusive "mising chord" I couldn't find in a song.... I highly recommend downloading it and "playing" around with it... I sat outside with the notebook computer and my trusty '76 Balladeer last night and learned more cool stuff in an hour than I have in months....
Thanks for alerting me about it!

Glad you like it. I've been having some fun with it myself. I'm pretty much in the same boat as you. I play by ear, so this program was a welcome addition. I'm sure others will like it as well. |

I got it and promptly installed the Ovation guitar image. Sure, sure, it's a Melissa Ethridge (judging by that silly flying E thing on the 12th fret), but at least it's an O!
I wonder if they licensed the image/likeness from O? Or if that's even necessary. |
