Looks like the serial number is one of the stamped 1000 type.

It's a real one. I remember seeing the guitar BUT,
I didn't build it. I also don't remember ever meeting this guy although he claims he was at my house in NC. He could have been, it used to rain beer and there was lots of lightening (the GOOD kind) back then. I also don't remember selling the guitar to him. It was never one of the ones I had around the house. He could have bought it when we closed the factory, we sold lots of stuff that we didn't want to move back to CT. It would have been with the engineering gitters.

It's back up for sale, but the seller evidently reads this board. Of course he claims that cwk2 is somebody named Bill K. But I always thought cwk2 was just a retired gas station owner.

This guy's OBVIOUSLY got it wrong, . . . again!

Bill Kaman is/was a dye-in-the-wool Yankee that said things like "wahk th' dahg" & "pahk th' caah", this cwk2 character sounds like some Bubbah with "y'all" and "gitter".

Although, . . you never see 'em in the same room at the same time, . . . and the DO look amazingly alike, . . . 'cept one of 'em wears glasses!
