I may be interested in this guitar, but have concerns about it...see pic

http://i4.ebayimg.com/05/i/08/50/16/0e_12.JPG

I am looking for an inexpensive 12 string and thought this might work. Can anyone tell from the pic if this is a problem? The seller states it's only cosmetic. He only has 1 feedback though; so no history there to fall back on.

All thoughts appreciated!

Perhaps moist at the rim of the soundboard,at that position it would n`t have much influence on it`s sound ,but will it stay there ?..are there more/other issues, try to get the price down ;)

to me it looks like the neck took a hit and there may be damage to the top of the guitar. you would need to check it out in person and see if it effects the action of the guitar. but then again if the guitar is cheap enough.
go for it.

The image is relatively unrevealing. I'm in accordance with the Gentleman from the Garden State.

Here's the entire auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/Ovation-12-String-Acoustic-Electric-6751-w-Hard...

Thanks to all who posted.

I think I'll watch the auction for a few days, and see what happens!

I just got my 1751 for not much more than his starting price. This one may not be such a great deal. I don't have much need for a cutaway, especially on a 12 string. I agree this looks like it took a hit that caused the top to crack along the binding.

In 2 days you might pick it up for the minimum bid.
