Location: ms | As I mentioned in the earlier post, I would return the katrina guitar if I could find the original owner. It's not mine, yet, but I think we've made a deal. I was stringing it up, and found someones ssi number burnt into the bowl. You being a pi and all, surley there is a way I could use the ssi number to get a name and address? I figure who ever owned it probably lost a lot, posibly even their home, or even their life. Anyway, let me know if there is any advice you can give me about contacting the owner.
Thanks, Ramblin Ron (aka: gulf coast) |

Location: Midland, MI | After (get) high school, I had a friend who went to the U of Hawaii (for a semester, then he got kicked out). He was having 'stuff' shipped back to him USPS in coffee grounds.
After his return, I took him to a party one night, where he proceeded to roll up the biggest spliff I'd ever seen (outside of the Caribbean, and that wasn't until some years later). I believe that was the night we managed to get my Chevelle stuck in a snow drift in the cemetary (we were next to a fresh grave; and yes we did see dead people) and at some point he got picked up by the police because he matched the description of a robbery suspect (except my friend was white and the robbery suspect was not). It was a very interesting evening.
Thanks for sending me off on that trip down memory lane. |
