Location: SE Michigan		This is not my auction, and if it were not for the fact that I just purchased three guitars (I must be stopped!) I would definitely bid on this:

It is what appears to be a near pristine 1977 Balladeer 1121-4, complete with the foil label. Dang, I may have to bid on it anyway, it would be a shame to see it sell for peanuts.

Location: Texas		I dont know if it is Ovations, or guitars in general, but in the last week I have seen some nice Ovations go cheap. A 1651-7 went for 330 ... a 6773 went for 350

Oh but folks will go down and buy an Asian guitar at GC for 500, give or take a 100, and not think twice...

I almost got one, but I bought a USA 1861LX instead.

I missed-out on that 6773... (a match for my 6774)
I didn't bid high enough cuz I couldn't afford the $75 shipping.
It's a buyers' market out there.

I can't help but think that there will come a day that these guitars make a comeback...ala old Gretsch's. I sold a buddy of mine my Gretsch back in 80 for 450 and was happy with that. Of course it is worth many times that today. oh well.

Location: SoCal		My first Ovation, which I bought new, early in my senior year in high school, was an Artist, just like this one. Practically the same price too ---- $295. 42 freaking' years ago this fall.....
