Even with having in in a seperate section, bad fellings can bleed over. Like Al has said, there are plenty of other places for that type of discussion.

Sad also that someone in another thread felt the need to apologize for posting a non-partisan "go vote" message. I respect anyone's opinion and how they vote if they have honestly researched the candidates and issues. As in religion or even type of guitars played, that is their decision. I don't respect block voting by party, ethnicity, or other affiliation. Takes work to dig through all of the media and distortions. Our forefathers, whether generations in the United States or other countries fought and died for freedom and rights. In the United States, fortunately we have the right to vote; I feel that it is our civic responsibility to be an informed voter. Amazing that we have "undecided voters". Makes you kind of wonder. I commend an informed voter who casts their vote based on his or her conscience, for whatever candidate.

Larry David said it best about these so called undecided voters."What's wrong with them? Is it true that they can't decide, or are they just claiming to be undecided to get all the attention? Between now and November, they are going to be getting all the attention, from the pollsters, from the pundits, from the focus groups...I bet they are pretty decisive in other areas of their life, like choosing what they want for dinner in a restaurant..."

They make the laws and spend the money. Thems is the poeple we gotta watch ... And then there are the constitutional amendments here in California that include things like whether your local elected officals can LOWER taxes without a vote of the people, support stem cell research (this is a constitutional amendment, remember), require employers to provide a prescribed level of benefits to their employees, give the NA Tribes a 99 year monopoly on all gambling in the state, etc. Finally, there's all of the local candidates and measures which should be near and dear to everyone. A lot to ponder and moody's right ... you better be prepared and think about your actions. P.S. My state senator is running unopposed ... so stonebobbo had at least one write-in vote! ;)

OK, OK, we can't say that either, sorry. I won't do it again tomorrow and I did wait till the very last day.

The machines are broken and the workers don't know how to fix them. Oh boy. I feel like charlton heston in ape city. Oh wait a minute, I can see the statue of liberty. God what have done, we really did it!!!

The urban myths are that votes were misplaced, and people disenfranchised, but despite all the newspapers and other organizations who went to Florida and conducted investigations, no proof of any of that was ever found. Yet the myths continue. Don't worry folks. Temp and I go back and forth on this as only good friends can do. And as usual, he's wrong. And in January, he and I will get drunk together and have a great time.

It (2000 Florida) was a fictional creation of lawyers and politicians and poor losers who now appear to be deranged from the experience. John Kerry has shown the American tradition of politely accepting what is and going on to promote his cause and beliefs. Elections are not war, flying planes into buildings are and cutting off heads of innocent people are atrocities that we can avenge if we stick together. If Osama wants to threaten the red states if we don't vote as he wants, I say "Bring it On" Mr Bin Laden, if you hit my state and I am still alive, I, at 69 years old, and millions like me will get on a plane or ship and hunt you down like a dog wherever you are and hang you by the balls for all to see, I will step on your head with the full intention of insulting you. You will be humiliated like your colleague, Saddam, pulled from a rat hole, Sorry Mr creator of atrocities who has no home, suck up your asshole, you are dead meat.
