I did an inventory of my "tropical" style shirts. The number comes to eight. I am asking my friends here to be brave and do a simular count. I am just wondering how I fit in the bell curve.
Yes...I have a desire for a uke and a pontoon boat but no,I don't wear black socks with sandles and the waist of my shorts does not reside north of the navel.
Still...the shirt thing is a concern. Do I have a problem?

Do you want us to count flowered shirts only, and include a seperate count for matching flowered thongs?

8???? That's it???

I've got over 30! But for me, they're more like a uniform than "just a shirt". Hell, I buy a new one and write it off as a business expense!

Just kidding on that last.

Flowered shirts, probably 4 or 5. Hawaiian shirts with airplanes and cars and other important stuff, probably another 10.

I have two, and they both say, 'Quiksilver.' They were cool until yet another surf line went commercial. Now I refuse to wear them.

Two! One Black with a Gold Pineapple Print all over it. The other White with Blue, Black and gray
Airplane Prints on them. I mention the latter because I got it on sale with a sign that said tropical Style shirts.
That's all for me.
Gee Moody, Wanna share some of yours? It seems you have the most. :D

I have four, people around here never know what I may wear. Today it is kahki pants and a sports shirt, tomorrow it may be wranglers & boots, then slacks and a pull over. Tomorrow I will probably start out in bluegeans, then a suit for the funeral of a classmates mother, then into ????

Sometimes people introduce me as a preacher and the ones I'm introduced to say "You don't look like a preacher." I always say "Thanks".

Whats a preacher supposed to look like anyway?

Don't have too many flowered, and none with cars or airplanes, but somewhere around 20, maybe 25. The best is one imprinted with the labels of all the local Hawaiian beers. A real conversation starter.

Well, it looks like I'm somewhere in the middle. Factoring in the Michigan weather and I'm doing alright. I do like em though. If I lived in "Cali" I know I'd have more.

I had two. Now I only have one. I lost the other one to a thief in Shenzen, near guanzhou last year. Rotten bastard, stole my bag at the train station, but he was probably desperate and really needed it. notthing important stolen just clothing. But there was one angry gringo in china that day. I noticed at the salvation army that they had dozens of HI shirts. You can get 'em for 5 bucks a piece!

You need to get the matching holster to make it count!

My count is eight, plus some T's.
Whenever I an foraging for Men's wear I have an eye out for the perfect HI shirt. It's out there somewhere, I know it!

Probably one with 48'Wagons and Surfboards - lotsa Woody's all over it!.

In keeping with my intention to be as boring as possible in my clothing selection, I have absolutely ZERO flowered shirts.

I do, however, have TWO OFC T-shirts. Does that make up for it?????? :D

I had some great HI shirts when I was a kid and they disappeared from spontaneous combustion they were so hot, but I checked my closet and all I could see was snap up sleeves on cowboy shirts, maybe 15 or 20 that I can't wear anymore cause they are tailored and I ain't tailored anymore unless I can find some maternity ones somewhere. That signifies my preoccupation with mountains and desert instead of ships and beaches.

Got a couple that I use for barbecuing in the back yard but for the SoCal get-together found a non-wrinkle polyester from a rack in a grocery store. That way, the only thing wrinkled was me.

Mine used to come off the rack just for special events, like the barbeque thing. But now I'll wear them anytime.

I've called the fashion police. With this thread, you've all given up the right to remain silent, and everything you've said will be used against you in a court of law.

Sadly I must admit to owning zero flowered shirts as well. I do however own at least two T-shirts of every color in the human visible spectrum. I also have a couple that only dogs can see.

I am reknown for my extensive collection of Flip-Flops, I find them the perfect footwear, even in winter if the snows not too deep.
