I'd rather not sell ANY of these, but...

1687-8 #0041-97
I paid $10,000.00 plus shipping, and that’s what I’d like to get for it. Hit this link for pictures on the ovationtribute website: Original Slothead #41 . Includes case, case cover, and lots of documentation. Sounds like a $10K guitar should.

1187-247 #87
I bought this 47RI from Mike in late 2009. There are some great pictures of this guitar the ovationtribute website: 1187-247 #87 . Includes case, case candy, walnut tuner buttons, original gold plated tuner buttons, and strap. $3200.00

1688-8 #9722-87
Remarkably clean guitar built in 1994 that sings like a choir. Includes case. See this thread for details: 1688-8 12-String $1500.00

1680 #23077
I’m the original owner and this is not an FRG. Perfect condition. I’ll take pictures if anyone is seriously interested. $1550.00

Prices do not include shipping or insurance. Feel free to ask questions.

I've played #41. Great guitar, and Nick's right. It sounds like a 10k guitar should sound. Worth every penny.

Good luck. Sorry you're feeling the need to sell these great guitars.....

Several Adamas guitars for sale . . . like an ORIGINAL SLOTHEAD, among others!

Terrific. As Paul says, for $10K, worth every penny. Someday, I hope to own one of the originals. The "97" in the serial number represents the vibrometer frequency reading, which is very high. In fact, very few of the originals reached this high. From the list, Charlie's original No. 47 (considered by some to be the best ever) appears to have recorded the highest frequency at 99.

For anyone interested, here's a few pictures of the 1680.

I'd love to go after that 1680, but it's not in the cards at the moment. I've got enough to pay for as it is.

Best of luck!

I WANT THEM ALL! ... But that 47RI really catches my eye. I wish I wasn't presently in the selling mode myself. Good luck to you and to the lucky persons who snag these great instruments.

Thanks everyone for all the kind words and well wishes. The 1680 has found a nice new home and will soon be living abroad with an OFC member. I'll leave it up to the new owner to come forward if they so choose.

Boy am I grateful for that! I kept coming back to look at it. That one had the potential to cause some real trouble 'round my house.

An envious "Congrats!" to the new owner. And again, best of luck with the rest.

Patch, now I've the trouble!!! Can't resist her, because I'm looking for one of these for a very long time. Your old Glen Campbell project guitar has to leave my stable for her. Well, I can't hold them all, but maybe there is another very good home for this one.....an OFC member, too.

Thanks guys!

Would you take one of the grandchildren in trade for the 47RI? ooops! ... scratch that, I'll be in trouble.

I hope my wife isn't watching this forum. You'd have a guitar(s) on your doorstep by tomorrow.

Tim, grab #41 and get rid of the #47RI or a couple more Adamii. Once you have one of the original slotheads, you won't feel the need for the others.

Thanks Carol, Yes I have nearly all parts together.
The knob from the preamp I found at an old car-radio and the back-door I've made by myself from a piece of black plastic. Now the cross-spring for inside is the only thing I'm missing.
You can see pics of her on my ning page.

I know things are tough for everyone right now, so if it would help I would consider financing the 47RI or #41 with a substantial downpayment.
