Hit this link for pictures on the ovationtribute website: Original Slothead #41 . Includes case, case cover, and lots of documentation. Sounds like a $10K guitar should. 1187-247 #87 I bought this 47RI from Mike in late 2009. There are some great pictures of this guitar the ovationtribute website: 1187-247 #87 . Includes case, case candy, walnut tuner buttons, original gold plated tuner buttons, and strap. $3200.00 1688-8 #9722-87 Remarkably clean guitar built in 1994 that sings like a choir. Includes case. See this thread for details: 1688-8 12-String $1500.00 1680 #23077 I’m the original owner and this is not an FRG. Perfect condition. I’ll take pictures if anyone is seriously interested. $1550.00 Prices do not include shipping or insurance. Feel free to ask questions.

As Paul says, for $10K, worth every penny. Someday, I hope to own one of the originals. The "97" in the serial number represents the vibrometer frequency reading, which is very high. In fact, very few of the originals reached this high. From the list, Charlie's original No. 47 (considered by some to be the best ever) appears to have recorded the highest frequency at 99.

The 1680 has found a nice new home and will soon be living abroad with an OFC member. I'll leave it up to the new owner to come forward if they so choose.

Can't resist her, because I'm looking for one of these for a very long time. Your old Glen Campbell project guitar has to leave my stable for her. Well, I can't hold them all, but maybe there is another very good home for this one.....an OFC member, too. Thanks guys! Bernie

The knob from the preamp I found at an old car-radio and the back-door I've made by myself from a piece of black plastic. Now the cross-spring for inside is the only thing I'm missing. You can see pics of her on my ning page. Bernie
