I say, "near" mint because, I've played it and changed strings several times and put walnut tuner buttons on it. I have the original gold tuner buttons. Otherwise, this guitar is as received from the factory. $3195.00 Serious inquiries only. No trades. Email me thru this site if you are interested. Pics are available the ning site.

But then I played it again and - wow, these things are too good to be true. And for now and then I am sure - the slothead reissues will never leave my house. This is a great chance for someone to pick up one of the best guitars that are out there. Best regards, Kurt

Kurt, I just looked at the pics Jerome has up of your 1187-7 and have to say that it might be the prettiest of all the Adamii. Just wonderful. Whoever buys Jeff's 47RI is getting a great guitar. It won't be for sale long. Either somebody will buy it quick or Jeff's concussion will get better and he'll take it off the market....

Man, I have seen this in person - what a great and beautiful guitar! Nevertheless, don't care about the colour: The factory did an awsome job with rebuilding these guitars! And it was hard to find and get them - and it won't be easier in the future. Best regards, Kurt

You need to put a pic of your 1187-7 on your page with your other guitars. What difference do you note between your two 1187's? And what strings do you use?

So to say, the -7 is my trial and error guitar. I've tried many different strings on her, always came back to the elevens, Elixirs. But it sounded wonderful with Silk and steels, don't know what brand they were, but they wore out to fast. The -7 and the -2 sound very similar, with the -7 being a little bit louder (with same strings on both guitars) while interestingly more crispy, the -2 perfectly balanced. Funny, but, with all the guitars I have, I nearly all the time grab one of the two slothead reissues. The 1581 RI sounds fabulous as well, so does the 1687 - but the light weight and feel of the slotheads makes them really special. AND: I love acoustic onlys! If I need and want something really different, it's my strumming monster, the JC2 D-35. Best regards, Kurt
