This is #231 of the original 250 made which are crafted of solid tonewoods instead of laminated like on the newer models. 1 7/8 nut, "V" profile neck. This is the second one of these I've owned, but I need to make some room in the closet, so something has to go. Comes with original "coffin" case, COA, and 1892 catalog of Washburn guitars. 575.00 shipped, insured to your door conn. US.

I can just picture the final QC inspector reluctantly handing it over to the g'rilla in da alley... "Distress this 'un..."
Amazingly, it looks 75 y.o. with nothing to distract from it's structure and performance. So ya get an extra 50 years for yourself!
Yeah, I really liked it... just too many corners! ;) |

Location: South of most, North of few | it's not really a v, more like a "V". Really pronounced deep V. A lot of people have a problem with v necks, but this one doesn't bother me at all.

Location: South of most, North of few | Well....it sounds to me most like my old Gibson Blues King, or the Martin 00 I had. Definitely a "boxier" sound like the old time blues players recordings. Sharp edged tone I'd say. |
