OK you all know me, and this one wouldn't stay long. As new as a 1982 guitar can get, this 1681 was sent back to the factory for a refurbish. New old stock neck (period correct item), bowl resprayed, electronics replaced. I gave it to them and told them to make it as new and they didn't disappoint. It's been through a couple other member's hands, but not a lot of play time on it since the refurbish and still in mint condition. Absolutely the best sounding Adamas I've had the pleasure of owning. Anyway, $1350 will get it shipped insured to conn. US members. Slightly higher for overseas. Here's a pic, I can send more if you want via email.

Should have had them put a wide neck on it. Nice guitar tho. Good luck with the sale.

Sent you a pm Beal. I might end up keeping it if I can get a manly neck for it.

This is an AMAZING guitar!!

I know, because it has passed through my hands too.
I sold it back to TJ because my playing time has dwindled a lot lately and this guitar deserves to be played daily.

If you don't have an Adamas, or don't have a 1681, this is the one that you have been waiting on.

(I was secretly hoping that TJ would hold on to it, so that I could buy it back when life slows down a little.) :(

You take payments?
I'll put my wife to work under a lamp-post or somethin' :)
That really is a pretty guitar, good luck!

You may want to go that route, Michael. You can pass on the 1718.

I was kidding about the payment thing.
As much as I want a blue Adamas just like this one, I don't have the money to buy it.
If I don't have the money for it, I don't expect for somebody wait around for me. :)
I'll get one eventually.

Besides,I still want the 1718 Jack, the money is sitting in the bank waiting to go into your hot lil' hands.

Why do I keep going back to this thread? I've not ever even particularly cared for the blue ones, but I keep drooling over this one for some reason...

Probably because of all of TJ's guitars, this one has the deepest roots in his legend.

Had a couple of offers, but as for now, this one's staying. No longer for sale.
