Location: Fayetteville, NC | John Denver connection or not, Unless someone is a serious collector of John Denver Memorabilia, There's no way the guitar will bring that amount of money. Now, I don't know what the going rate is forthat type of Adamas Twelve string,.But i've got a hunch that he's way off the mark.

Location: SoCal | Ya know, my ass was handed to me after I made the same basic observation regarding an Adamas owned by Larry Coryell. Now you guys are saying the same sort of things (but worse) over Denver's guitar.

Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains | For this member, I loved John Denver's songs, memorized most of them, and made some money over the years playing them. I also saw John Denver in concert at least a dozen times. While I've seen pictures of him playaing an Ovation, I never saw him play one on stage. He primarily used Guilds early in his career, Taylors in his later career, and a Les Paul when he needed more bite. I have no reason to question the authenticity of the eBay post, but I just never saw him play an Ovation on stage. |

No disrespect meant to John Denver (whom I really like)...but to ask such an outrageous price because John played it, seems a little "Far-Out"!
