Let me know what you have to trade. I will consider anything is the same price range. But I want a flat back. No O's. I just can't get use to that round back. I live in Denver, PA.

Location: Atlanta,Ga. | The D-15S martin your showing above is one of the best sounding guitars for the money.They sound huge..The martin 15 series is very impressive and for well under $1000 usually around $6-$800..The 12 fret slothead is great,great guitar |

Location: Tennessee | Agree, agree, agree! If you have about four hours to spare, you can hand polish out that satin finish and really bring out the mahogany! I personally like the 000-15S more than the dread, but both are excellent guitars, especially for the money. |

This may sound dumb, but when you say handpolish, do you mean using butchers wax, and then repeatedly polishing it for four hours? Would maybe using something like M'Guire X first make sense to smooth out the finish, then use the buthcers wax? Anyone here know about glossing out a satin finish?

| You know people often ask me if upgrading their plastic saddle to bone will improve the sound. I always answer that all it will do is change the sound. Whether or not it's better depends on if you like it better.
Now the CE-768 doesn't sound at all like a Collings.
Then again the Collings doesn't sound at all like a CE-768.
The Collings sounds great, the Ovation sounds different great.
There's room in the world for us all.
Life's too short not to enjoy all the guitars.
By the way, I now own more Ovation guitars than any other brand. Go figure. |

Personally, I like the mahogany (the D-15S) or Koa (the D-25K2).
The 30th Anniv CL will still get the most play :cool: :D :cool: |
