Additional pics available in my gallery.

Steve, I am not really sure if there is a difference between a SB and a SSB. I know this Adamas has better balls than some of my mid and deep bowl models. Just a huge sound unplugged that sounds unbelievable plugged in. One of our bowl experts, maybe can chime in????

On my Adamas 2, it is hand written inside the bowl, on the Adamas sticker, after the model number (which is also hand written). It gives : "1581-8 89".

He said he never cut the XS strings, more than that he winds the entire length of the string around the tuner for two reasons: 1- It doesn't go out of tune as much as the cut strings and is way EZier to put back in tune in a snap. 2- BB King said that when he breaks a string he can just use the XS string to re-string it with the same string. I remember this cause i was thinking at the time, i'm gonna do the same. But quit it after a few sets of strings. I found out that what BB King said was true, but also that winding the entire string is very very painful. Hahahahaha!!!!!! But seeing how many legends of guitar playing don't cut their strings, i'm thinking that it might not be the smartest thing to cut them. THX
