Too bad Pete's jacket was hung up on his guitar strap as it seemed to really interfere with his playing. I'm guessing Roger won't be talking for the next week or more. He really put everything into it to hit the notes, and he did hit them. I imagine the show in person was probably a LOT better than when we heard on TV. Lets face it, they're essentially a 3-piece band, and it just looses a lot in translation when you can't "feel" the music as much as hear it. I don't envy the guys that have to mix a show where the audience hears the music delayed 300ms or maybe even more after it's played. At least in a typical show, the stage volume makes up at least some of the sound.

It was good to see them crank'n em out, for nostalgia sake, but I wasn't really blown away like I half expected to be.

Who?

We watched the movie, the Pianist.

What did we miss? Was it a NASCAR race?

I thought Daltry started shaky but grew stronger with each song. By the end he sounded really good.

Pete's singin on the other hand was really lacking.

I thought for certain that Townsand would smash the red Strat he was playing when they were done. Kinda relieved that he didn't....

Agree with stephen. Although I thought the keyboard was best! Only two quick shots of him...

Not sure, but I thought I caught Daltrey lip-synching. Don't they lip-synch all these things?

Yes, halftime shows (and the national anthem) are always lip synched. Been that way for 14 years. The network claims that "the risk of technical failure it too huge to go live".

That's what I thought. And that's why I wondered why they let Carrie Underwood miss all those notes for the National Anthem!

I was impressed by the old farts... and they are what? 64 and 65 years old?
Reminding us not to get Fooled Again!

That was the high point of the game, cuz it sure went downhill for the Colts after that! :p

I've seen Pete struggling with his jacket at a couple Detroit show. I've wondered why he still wears one.

I thought I saw a lip-sync. After that I watched real close and saw more evidence against it.

Pete & Rog where good enough.
Zak was fine.
Pino needs to turn up his bass.

The light show was awesome.

Daltrey was definitely lip-synching.
I saw him screw-up at one point when he was pulling the mic from his mouth.

The LightShow was th'BestPart . . .

Agree on the excellent laser show. Kudos to the boys for agreeing to do a show where they likely had a lot less control over production than they're accustomed to.
