Joined: June 2006 Posts: 7307 Location: South of most, North of few | Yup, this one's got the USA logo on the headstock, and schroeder, those are Tom Anderson pickups. They have a little wider pole spacing than normal pu's, and I hear they are supposed to be something special, although I can't tell the difference from a normal Seymour Duncan setup. Just designer name I guess, hand wound, blah, blah.... therefore worth more money(?) :rolleyes: | ||

Like having two guitars in one, which didn't make any sense for a guy who had 15 others that never got plugged in, so I sold it. | ||

Whereas the Duo-Tone delivers its two pickup systems via separate output jacks, the VXT combines the two channels through a single 1/4" jack in mono mode, or split through stereo channels via the same jack. In addition, whereas both models use a piezo pickup under the bridge for acoustic tone, the VXT runs the signal through its proprietary VIP circuitry. | ||
