Sure thing! Welcome.

My first Ovation was an Applause, I joined here, that was the beginning of the end.

Welcome... Lesson One: The first term should become accustomed to here is GAS.

That stands for "Guitar Aquisition Syndrome"

I'm new here too and I can tell you from my limited experience that this is a great bunch of folks that have something in common with you; they all love Ovation guitars! Welcome to the group!

Velkommen der OFC! (Mahalo had already been taken).

I have a friend with an Applause 12 string that he lets me change the strings on once every 10 years or so. :D

Oh yes!!

Wellcome!!!

My first Ovation was an Applause AE 127, and then...
But I've sold all Applauses and Celebities last year, now I've only....a lot of guitars.

Krtrader, welcome to the OFC. Ovation guitars are kind of like Lay's potato chips -- you can't have just ONE (although I currently have only one Ovation, I'm always scheming for the next one!)

I just got myself a real ovation off from ebay(item#110463555688).I don't know much about this guitar.it's look a little old but I think I will sand off the old laquer and run to the home depot, get a can of laquer then spray on it make it look new again.I'm originally fron Bangkok,Thailand and live here in Los angeles,CA for 13 years. Now I think I feel like I'm a full member of OFC since I got a real ovation guitar lol.Any comment about this guitar???

The Patriot is based on the Ovation Legend model.
Both great guitars. Yours is "Road Worn" as the auction says, but that just adds character to it.
Sand off the finish on the soundboard??? I wouldn't!
There should be an applique on the lower bout that is specific to the Patriots. Only 1776 of these models were built.

Enjoy it.

Welcome to the insanity!

For what you paid, just clean her up well and wear it completely out.
