Location: Blue Ridge Mountains | Started snowing just after noon...4 inches so far and the heavy stuff is supposed to begin later tonight...I plan to drive the wife to work since I have 4 wheel drive...the mountain is already treacherous..calling for 18 to 24 inches... |

Location: Budd Lake, NJ | They are calling for a foot, here; it's supposed to start in the early morning hours, and I have to work tomorrow morning (banks only close if a state of emergency has been declared--the state's definition and mine definitely do not agree!)
We shall see what the Subie and her studded snowtires are capable of; I've had to go to work in worse, but I lived much closer then.

Location: Vernon CT | Update: 12-18" in Southern Ct. 6-12" in Northern Ct where I live! Oh Joy!! Then I hear that Ct rates 50 out of 51 (inclds DC) on the happiest state list. Only N.Y is less happy!!

Location: Blue Ridge Mountains | 14 inches of heavy wet snow so far and calling for 6 more; roads are horrible, and everything is canceled including all the church services tomorrow...power so far is still on but w/temps near 20 tonight everything is possible...I bought a generator day before yesterday...I have a feeling I may need it before this winter is over...
If the roads are better by Monday we will rendezvous for a mini jam w/ TJ and Capo Guy Monday night. |

Location: Hot Springs, S.D. | I just checked the weather report. It looks like Music Mike is in the worst part of the storm right now. Lots of power outages there too, so if we don't hear from him again today that's probably why. Here's hoping all of you stay safe and warm. |
