Joined: March 2008 Posts: 2683 Location: Hot Springs, S.D. | Thanks guys. Merry Little Christmas was recorded here at the shop on the 1680. I didn't have the volume up high enough because when I tried it at full volume the bass was starting to overdrive. I took the computer home and recorded Santa Clause at full volume with my beloved 2077LX. It isn't as bassy as the Adamas so it didn't overdrive, but there IS that annoying background hiss. But, I'm learning...

I'll bet the 'pros' here don't even use it. Alison, I must say that I was quite impressed with your playing. Lovely 'stuff'! Oh, yeah, Merry Christmas to you and all our members!

I don't so much try to play mellow, but I AM a very sleepy, kind of lazy, sort of boring,...Y-A-W-N...type of person. :D (Oh, and for those who knew me when I was young {Beal}, please don't mention how loud, pushy and cantankerous I USED to be.)

Were you mic-ed or just plugged in to the computer? Any special interface or straight to the sound card? What software? Post more and often!
