Just the drive thru the woods to get there puts employees in right frame of mind. No, no... gotta keep the Mothership right where it is.

That old textile factory with the bell tower and maze like layout is as much a part of Ovation as the shape of the headstock. That's what I thought, but I had to ask… It's true I haven't been there, but I have seen pictures, mostly on the inside of my guitars… ;) Just the drive thru the woods to get there puts employees in right frame of mind. No, no... gotta keep the Mothership right where it is. Seriously, I have seen the place in photos and videos of past tours, I would love to see it in person someday. Apparently "OFC tour" is not a topic for discussion in the near future. Do they offer individual tours to those who make the pilgrimage to the MS? I may just have to settle for letting one of my guitars visit without me, a couple of my older O's would enjoy from a spa treatment.

But conversely it might indicate a definitive intention to continue to build at least some guitars in the US. That was the reason for my naive question. I certainly didn't mean to be sacrilegious about the MS. (We are not supposed to discuss politics or sacreligion anyway…) ;)
