Just got my 1680 that I bought from Trader. It sure has been a great day for Adamas' here on the OFC! I love the sound of this guitar. I put the airlocks in the treble side and that really brought out the bass. What gets me is how warm this guitar sounds. And it's so PRETTY!. Grey is my favorite color, and I love the solid epi's. You can see better pics on Trader's original post than I could ever take. I'm going to go plug it in now. Talk to ya'll later.

Congrats Alison!! I love the look of the 1680 and I've heard nothing but positive things about it's tone. Enjoy it (but don't forget about the cheapo 2077lx! ;) )

If you need a real try to use for a background instead of that wussey palm tree that TJ uses, I have one or two available:

By the time that pic got posted, it was too late to edit it. That's a real "tree" not a "try". Probably a 100 year old Ponderosa Pine, by the way, next to the deck I built just so the OFC would have someplace to play when you all arrived.

OK, rave rave rave, now I'm gonna go play it some more...

Well, what can I say? I love it and so does everyone else who has walked in here today. Earlier there were two guys fighting over it. They are both regulars, and it was pretty funny hearing them "It's my turn" each other. After all, it IS MY guitar, but if they want one, I'll be happy to find one for them.

Is that good enough for now? Can I go play it some more now?

Somebody write this down...if I EVER win a stupid Lotto (and it would really be amazing considering I don't really play it all that often), I'm flying the first 50 to respond to Mark's back door for a weekend he's been waiting for forever...(Mark, I wouldn't stock the cooler just yet tho')

By the way, enjoy it Allison. That one's a real treat.

In about 1979 or 80, I told someone who was asking about Boise that it wasn't close to anywhere or on the way to anywhere. If you get here, it's because it's where you wanted to end up. That's still pretty true today. I really don't mind that it's not popular, but it would be nice if we didn't have to beg for 30 years to get friends from the Midwest to visit us.

I feel for you, Mark. Nobody comes to Syracuse either.

At least not on purpose.

Sure is a beautiful backyard you have there, Mark. Looking at that everyday would make me want to breakout the guitars and sing every chance I had. I have tree envy.
