Help, I need ideas for this weeks tune. Gotta have Juke Box in it somehow, Need a jump start.....

(C)There's a (G)juke box sitting out (C)back
Right (F)next to my 59 Cadil(C)lac
(F)Neither one works too good,
Some (C)day I'll (C/B)fix them (Am)like I should
I'm (C)waiting for that (G)day to come a(Am)round
I'm (C)hoping (G)I'll still be in (C)town
suggestions on wherer it goes from there???

or another thought is something about;
Life is like a juke box, I keep putting in quarters but someone else is picking my tunes.

And they're playing my history one tune at a time.

My life's tales came(or were) not cheap,
and while I thought they were all mine,
they are now...
Three for a quarter, and one for a dime.

Life is a jukebox, and it chooses the rhyme..
And they're playing my story one song at a time

My life's tales were not cheap, and I thought were all mine.. but, they're now..

three for a quarter, and one for a dime..

Life is a jukebox, and it chooses the rhyme...

my life was not cheap, and I thought it was mine,
but it's now three for quarter, and one for a dime...

Old man played guitar by the liquor store
Most every day in my old home town
Never sounded sad, he never looked sore
He just serenaded every smile and frown

He sang;

Life is a jukebox
You drop your dime
Dance your music
Sing that rhyme

Life is a Jukebox
You make your choice
Won't last forever
So just rejoice

Life is a jukebox and it chooses the rhymes
while I live all the verses one tune at a time
I thought these songs were not cheap,
and at least were all mine,
but looks like they're three for a quarter,
and one for a dime.

there, I think that's better.

or substitute out for all, and switch tunes and song,

life is a jukebox and it chooses the rhymes,
while I live out its verses one song at a time
I thought these tunes were not cheap,
and at least were all mine,
but (it) seems like they're three for a quarter,
and one for a dime.

A Troubadour man,
My young wanderlust ways
spent tripping and stumbling
most times in a haze
a cup of coffee, a biscuit
a shop down the line
three for a quarter,
and one for a dime.

I married my sweetheart
and children came, three
we argued forever,
she said cuz of me
our children are hungry
I said stop your whine
she said their food's but a quarter
all you have is a dime

sing with me now..

life's like a jukebox it makes up the rhymes
while I play out its verses one song at a time
my tunes cost me dearly,
and I thought were just mine
but at three for a quarter
their price was not fine

an old man grown lonely
his days poorly spent
drawn to an old church house
feel it's time to repent,

tell the man at the pulpit
my soul feels entwined,

he says hold on to your quarters,
and share all your dimes,

with God's world your garden,
your life will be fine,
put one hand on my shoulder
and his other held mine,

I queried my debt, and asked what I owed
he said it's not up to me, His plan is your road.

If they're costing you dearly, well then maybe it's
time,

prayers and love are free, you should give them a try.

OK, here's the distilled but not complete version.

What ever happens to wishes and dreams?
The ones that come true you can see
What about the others, do they just get lost in time? well they're
Three for a quarter, one for a dime
Three for a quarter, one for a dime

Life is like a juke box but you can't choose the tunes
You give it your best and pay your dues
You know it aint easy, you got to follow all the signs, its
Three for a quarter, one for a dime
Three for a quarter, one for a dime

(F) The grass ain't always greener
(c) On the other side
(F) That ranks right up there
(C) With life's most famous (G) lies

The collection plate in church got passed around
I thought about the bum I saw downtown
He held out his hat to me
For spare change I'll dance and sing
Three for a quarter, one for a dime
Three for a quarter, one for a dime

I got a juke box in my garage out back
Sitting right next to my 59 Cadillac
Neither one works too good
Some day I'll fix them like I should, till then its
Three for a quarter, one for a dime
Three for a quarter, one for a dime

(F) Three for a quarter
(C) One for a dime
(F) A small enough price to pay
(C) Don't get left be(G)hind

repeat verse two and fade to black
