Only around 20 of these were custom built in the USA for sale by sweetwater.com.

The durable, textured enamel finish is lighter than a regular guitar finish so the Elite T's sound awesome. The sweetwater versions bring a deep contour bowl, an OP-PRO pre-amp, and a single, very nice looking Koa-trimmed epaulet.

6-string acoustic/electric
Solid Spruce Top
Deep Contoured Cutaway bowl
Koa trimmed epaulet
OP-Pro Preamp with 3-band EQ and Chromatic Tuner
2-piece Rock Maple neck
Ebony fingerboard, with no inlays
Ebony bridge
Ovation 8158 hard shell case included
1 11/16" nut width

This guitar is in great condition. No scratches, dents, dings, or blemishes. Basically no fret wear. Nice low action.

This could be yours today for $700 shipped/insured to CONUS. Contact me to negotiate international shipping. Paypal, money order, cashier's check, or I can take a credit card, and I can ship quickly!

Nice guitar indeed. Simple yet beautiful and I bet with a wonderful voice to it. Good luck with the sale.

Thank you DVD! This guitar will be a gift for that student I was talking about. She NEVER puts her guitar down. She keeps it by her bed and plays as soon as she sits up in her bed. Then she goes to school. When she gets home she plays before homework and supper. After supper while the family is watching TV, she sits in the corner and plays quietly. Her family is VERY supportive, and her clarinet teacher hates me. :D

Whatever I show her, she plays right back to me. Her tiny little hands are doing four fret stretches at the first fret. She loves classical and jazz. She likes bluegrass too. Her grandpa is getting her a banjo for her birthday in March.

I am SO excited!!! I can't wait to see the look on her face. When she comes in for her lesson I'm going to have her play the T instead of the Yamaha she usually uses. (She comes right after school so she doesn't bring her own guitar.) When the lesson is over I'm just going to put it in the case and tell her it's hers. I'll make sure to tell her Mom to bring a camera.

If you met this little girl and heard her play, you'd want to buy her a great guitar too.

Wow! The guitar came today, and after giving it a chance to warm up, I just took it out and tuned it up. SPECTACULAR guitar!! Rich and bassy. Beautiful to look at too. Shelby is going to freak out tomorrow when she sees it, and when her lesson is over and I tell her it's hers she'll probably faint.

I don't think you could find a guitar that sounds so much like an Adamas without actually BEING an Adamas. If I didn't already have FAR too many guitars, I'd be looking for one of these for myself.

Maybe later...

DVD, I can't thank you enough. You have made ME happy, and you have made the sweetest little girl in the world happy. I'll post some pics of the look on her face.

I'm glad it got there safe and sound! And I'm glad the timing worked out that you were looking right about the time I decided to cull the herd a bit.

Oh, and thanks to MWoody for throwing in a little extra bit of koa bling!

We all look forward to hearing how it goes with your student! I hope she enjoys it for years to come!

A donation to the OFC is forthcoming.

Yeah, Woody! When DVD told me you were sending something extra I told him you were a real sweetheart. And I was right! I thank you and Shelby thanks you.

OK, I gave her the guitar last night. She LOVES it! Her whole family came in and they were blown away with how the guitar looks and sounds. They took pictures and sent them to me, but I can't figure out how to even sen a LINK to the pics, let alone post them here. I have them in my "pictures" file, but I can't seem to do anything with them. Any advice?

Thanks, Flysig! And OMA, thank YOU for offering to post them too. You have come through for me in the picture department so many times. I had already sent them to Flysig so I knew they'd show up soon. I LOVE this place!
