For Sale: OVATION USA CUSTOM BUILT SLOTHEAD.

First time I played a C2079 Custom Legend LX, I was totally impressed. Only "complaint" was that the neck was a tad skinny and it sure would look good with a slotted headstock ...

Alpep to the rescue ... 6-7 years ago he did this Custom Order for me and it's turned in to a real dream guitar in every way. I'm not exactly sure what to call it ... basically a Custom Legend LX in sunburst finish but it's outfitted with a gloss finish wideneck, 1-3/4 inch nutwidth and beautiful slotted headtstock.

A "Custom" Custom Legend LX Wideneck Slothead ??? That's about right.

Space is becoming a bit of an issue as I branch in to other things and this one isn't getting much play. So I'd be happy to offer it to an OFC member.  The guitar is virtually unplayed and could pass for brand new.  Not a single mark on it and zero fret wear or signs of use.  You will not find a more pristine guitar. 

$2500. including original case and FedEx shipping within the 48 US States.

Location: SoCal		I've played this guitar. It's everything that Dave states and then some. And my guess that to have this guitar built today it would be about twice what Dave is asking, and a bargin to boot.....

Wow Dave. I'm not usually one to gush at a guitar, but that one is REALLY special!

If I ever had the pleasure to be able to order custom O, it would almost be that exact guitar, the only change would be a 12 fretter...

I used FedEx International Economy and shipped it Saturday morning. Tuesday morning it was in Bernies hands in Germany.

Well, that was faster than shipping from Hamburg to Munich with a Standard organization like DHL in Germany.

I love this guitar! She has the specs of a 2774LX-Folklore, but she beats all because she is so beautiful.

I've been REALLY wanting one for quite some time, but haven't had the right opportunity at the right time. I'm VERY envious! I've also asked around the forum several times for reviews on the 2774lx, and I think I've only found one person so far that actually HAS one.

I'm very interested in hearing your review, especially after you've had a chance to really experience it. Please give us an update in a few weeks.

Oh, and congrats (still green with envy)
