Joined: March 2005 Posts: 12759 Location: Boise, Idaho | I've never played Beal's nor anyone else's 84 Collector and I'm not a big fan of the SSBs. I like the extra bass of the deep bowls. The 2 SSBs I had, an 83 Collector and a Custom Balladeer, were pretty heavily played and sounded very good, but still a little thin on the bass. Since the other one was never going to be used I thought it only right to give it a home. I wanted the transparent black finish for the model. Grestch had just come out with the Super Chet and they came in trans orange and black. | ||
