Some times they say the most profound things.

"You collecting guitars is like me collecting baking dishes. They all do the same thing. Slightly different sizes and colors, but one is basically the same as another. AND I don't even really know how to bake".

Yes dear.

wish my guitars could nestle inside one another like my wife's baking dishes. we could sure use the extra room. (and i've only got four guitars and an ukelele).

My wife is kinda happy with me collecting guitars, except at bed time, when she has to remove parts of my collection from the bed.
My last hobby was collecting the local Fl. fauna.Boy did she hate that rattlesnake!

I don't have to worry about my wife hitting me with that one yet--she still has many more dishes than I have guitars.

Well, my wife decided that since I added to my guitar collection she needed to add to her jewelry collection. My $500 1758 just cost me another $1500! Wish she collected baking dishes.

Next time your wife says she can't bake, tell her "I know!" ..and report back here what her reaction is.

My wife doesn't really know what I have in the basement any more, has lost track of or miscounted the ones she does know about, and doesn't really know an Ovation from a Tak, nor a Fender from a Gibson. She makes great cookies, though.
