OFC guitar No. 5 has arrived in the great Rocky Mountains safe and in top condition. Opening up the box and finding all the goodies takes me back to those wonderful days of opening up a Christmas stocking during my childhood. Pics coming tomorrow, but I won't be able to put it though its paces until the weekend as other duties call this week.

Paul is one of those buttheads I was referring to in the other thread. Almost halfway to mine. Doesn't look like it will make it in time for my Father's Day present.

I'm assuming that "butthead" is a term of endearment (accurate as it may be -- and that's very very accurate).....

Actually these are great guitars. I had a bad case of nerves wondering if the money was spent in vain. I'm finding that I'm loving this guitar, not just the sound, but the craftsmanship as well. It's a keeper.....

Paul, How many different kinds of strings have you tried on it so far?

Obviously I like this guitar a lot. I changed strings once and that was it..... I feel faint just thinking about it.

Hmmmm, that reminds me that it is time to settle in tonight and change strings on the #47RI and about 4 other slotheads.

5 slotheads!?
I once changed strings on my 1977 Pacemaker in just over 10 minutes (strings cut to length as well) during a 20 minute brake while on tour years ago...Then an aditional 5 minutes getting it tuned and by the end of the break it was ready to go with the new strings. Only comment I can make in regards to the above situation is: you are very blessed!

Actually, I meant a Pair of Fives, not Twin Fives. They're not twins, but they are both No. 5 of 12.
