No contest... Dark Side of the Moon. You can listen to it over and over and hear each song in a different way. I could listen to that vocal solo all day long.

Without telling my choice...
(I don't wanna influence it in the first hour)
Some young'un told me that Pink Floyd DSM was the most depressing album ever cut...

Another day Older, another day closer to Death...
And go from there!

I think it is a kinda catchy phrase!

I see the dilemma here... Our perception of the 60's/70's...

Did you giggle when you tripped?
Or space-out?

Naw, I wouldn't know how, but someone should!
I downloaded an hour-long version, and was disappointed.
They SO should have synchro-ed Brain Damage with Dorothy first meeting the Scarecrow!
I also got the Dark Side of a Space Odyssey, and that shoulda been better, too.

Of course, Pink is winning!

I'd take Sgt Pepper.
Tens years of nothing but Brain Damage and my mind would turn to mush.
I'd start reffering to the album cover as "Wilson".
And you can call me "Gilligan".

Pink Floyd Rules...David Gilmour is the man...tasty, classic strat magic! David Gilmour web site No drugs needed for this great guitarist...Sid Barrett did enough for everybody unfortunatly...great stuff! The band still goes beyond classic to near mythical...Roger Waters and crew were way ahead of their time...

I'm sorry but this is a really stupid poll. You may be stuck on the island for 10 years with one CD, but exactly how long do you think the batteries in your CD player are going to last?

Batteries probably last long enough to hear Sargent Pepper about a 100 times, then its off to look for Mary Ann, but shes probably too old now as well.

Pink Floyd DSM is a good choice but I think I would take Abbey Road, and tons of bateries !!!

Who knows maby a FM radio?? where is that island anyway???

How many guitars can I bring??? cause no guitars and I'm out !

I would have the professor make an iPod out of coconuts. Then I could have all the music I want.

And if your gonna get stranded on a island - make sure it's the same one those people from "Lost" are on. They ALWAYS have plenty of electricity on that island.

And they already have an ovation too... just avoid the frets where the spear went through it.

I voted Beatles but I agree with Bernard. I would rather have Abby Road (my fave album).

One CD and 10 years? Would it matter?

Love both albums but if I'm going to be alone and going insane.. contemplating suicide, pissing and moaning, praying to get rescued, trying to be happy somehow it definitely WOULD NOT be PFDSOTM that I would opt for! Is it possible that I could at least bring an acoustic and 10 pack of strings so I know The Beatles album note for note by the time I ever DO get rescued? hahahahaa!

Always opt for the "happy" keys! LOL
