Our check in time at flint creek campground is four in the afternoon Sunday. Plan to setup the old camper maybe take a late swim and grill sausage dogs then set around the fire and play guitar. Monday eggs and bacon then taking my son fishing for the first time. A lite lunch because we will be on the lake all day, then steaks for supper . Pancakes tues morn, more fishing then eating at the Shack on the way home that afternoon. Then i,m out of money and eating ramen noodles.

Right now, whatever dead cooked stuff is leftover from the last time we grilled. Later on, who knows...maybe some shishkebobs. Maybe filet (I'm jonesing for blue cheese again). Hard telling what we'll end up with.

Whatever we will be cooking, I know it will contain a few "love bugs". For those of you who don't know what they are (yes, it truly is an insect, not some kinky thing) I will be more than happy to send a few your way. They do procreate rather rapidly however, so I wouldn't recommend introducing them to your area... Ah, the price of paradise..

You got to keep moving. Or drink your beer out of a covered cup with a straw. Yesterday, after a real nice day on the boat, came back home to clean it, and had to go back inside for all those little critters out back.

Hey sacc, I never thought of that, I could put a little Advantage or Frontline on the back of my neck, and maybe they would stay away. ;)

Brad, I've found one that works well. Get the burger nicely cooked, then put just a 50 cent piece size dolop of BBQ sauce on the top, and add a slice of cheese on top of that. Cover the grill, (if you can) and the cheese melts over the sauce to make a pocket of the sauce on top of the burger. It gets kind of messy when you bite into it, but man is it good.
